01 / THE SCOPE
About this page
This page covers the FishBookPro© public-preview website. It also describes the consent principles intended for future website services and the planned logged-in FishBookPro© application. The final version must be checked against the technologies actually operating when the website is published.
Current audit status: Development review required
02 / PLAIN LANGUAGE
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website may store through a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, software-development kits and identifiers created by embedded services.
These technologies may be used to keep a website functioning, remember permitted choices, protect forms, maintain a session, measure website performance, display embedded content, detect abuse and support accessibility preferences.
Not every technology described on this page is currently active.
03 / PROJECT AUDIT
Current public-preview website status
The current canvas audit found a public-preview form interface, no detected production destination, no detected analytics or advertising service, no detected YouTube or Vimeo embed, no detected Supabase or WeWeb connection, and no detected email or marketing integration. Framer-hosting behavior, browser storage and session storage still require manual confirmation before publication.
Framer hosting · Requires manual confirmation · Core delivery · Essential or audit-required · Review before publishing
Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Clarity and Hotjar · Not detected in current canvas · Optional measurement · Not active · Manual confirmation still required
Meta, TikTok and other advertising pixels · Not detected in current canvas · Optional marketing · Not active · Review required before any future use
YouTube, Vimeo and mapping embeds · Not detected in current canvas · Optional external media · Not active · Manual confirmation still required
Early Access form interface · Detected · Design preview only · Production destination not detected · Review required
Supabase, WeWeb, email and marketing integrations · Not detected in current canvas · Planned but inactive · Manual confirmation required
Local storage and session storage · Requires manual confirmation · Preference or session function · Consent category to be confirmed · Review before publishing
Custom code override for FishBookPro© text treatment · Detected · Display-only typography · Not tracking · Essential status not applicable
04 / CORE OPERATION
Essential technologies
Essential technologies are used where reasonably necessary to deliver the website, maintain security, remember a requested setting or complete an action chosen by the visitor.
Potential essential purposes may include: Page delivery · Navigation · Secure connections · Load balancing · Form protection · Consent-record storage · Accessibility preferences · Session integrity · Abuse prevention
Essential technologies should not be used for unrelated advertising or behavioural profiling. No specific cookie is being named as essential unless it is verified during the audit.
05 / YOUR SETTINGS
Remembering your preferences
Browser storage may eventually remember choices such as cookie preferences, reduced-motion preference, accessibility settings, dismissed notices, display preferences, permitted form progress, or language and region choices.
Only information reasonably required to remember the selected preference should be stored. A visitor must be able to change optional choices later. Current saved-preference behaviour requires manual confirmation.
06 / OPTIONAL MEASUREMENT
Analytics and website improvement
Future analytics may help understand which pages are visited, whether navigation works, which device categories are used, where layout failures occur, whether forms produce errors, which content is useful and general website performance.
Current analytics status: [populate from project audit]
Optional analytics should not be activated where consent is required until the visitor has made an appropriate choice. Analytics must not expose private fishing locations, catch coordinates, private Catch Cards, private messages or sensitive account information.
07 / EXTERNAL CONTENT
Embedded media
Embedded content may come from services such as YouTube, Vimeo, mapping providers, social platforms or external support tools. An embedded service may receive technical information when its content loads.
External media is unavailable until you allow this category.
Where appropriate, optional embedded content should remain blocked until the visitor chooses to load it. Existing embeds are audited as not detected in the current canvas; manual confirmation remains required.
08 / FORM REVIEW
Forms and Early Access
An Early Access or enquiry form may require secure submission, validation, spam prevention, consent records, error handling and submission-status storage. The Early Access form must not begin collecting production information until its secure destination, privacy wording, retention approach and consent behaviour have been confirmed.
Form interface present: Verified in canvas
Production destination: Not connected or requires manual confirmation
Supabase connection: Not detected in current canvas
Marketing integration: Not detected; no activation performed
Spam-protection provider: Not detected or requires manual confirmation
Consent records: Not active; requires manual confirmation
09 / PROTECTION
Security and fraud prevention
Essential security technology may be used to detect automated abuse, protect forms, limit malicious requests, maintain secure sessions, prevent account attacks, enforce rate limits, record consent choices and investigate credible security incidents.
Security records should be limited to what is proportionate and retained only as long as necessary. No current security provider is being named without verification.
10 / OPTIONAL MARKETING
Advertising and profiling
FishBookPro© does not currently intend to activate behavioural advertising technology through the public-preview website without clear review and an appropriate visitor choice.
Any future advertising or profiling technology would require review of purpose, consent, data sharing, retention, international processing, children and younger users, withdrawal of choice and advertising-partner access.
Private catches, precise locations and private angling records must not be made available for unrelated advertising profiling. No advertising scripts or partners are being added here.
11 / SERVICE REVIEW
Third-party services
The current or future website may involve Framer for the public website, Supabase for future authentication, database, storage and server-side functions, WeWeb for the future logged-in application, weather providers for future catch-condition data, email-delivery services, analytics services where appropriately approved, embedded-media providers, and spam or security providers.
Framer · Public website hosting · Current status: Requires manual confirmation · Data category: Technical delivery · Consent: To be confirmed · Provider information: Audit required
Supabase · Future authentication, database, storage and server-side functions · Current status: Not detected · Data category: Future account data · Consent: To be confirmed · Provider information: Audit required
WeWeb · Future logged-in application · Current status: Not detected · Data category: Future account data · Consent: To be confirmed · Provider information: Audit required
Weather providers · Future catch-condition data · Current status: Planned but inactive · Data category: Location/time conditions · Consent: To be confirmed · Provider information: Audit required
Email, analytics, spam and security providers · Current status: Not detected or requires manual confirmation · Data category: To be confirmed · Consent: To be confirmed · Provider information: Audit required
A service being considered for future use does not mean it currently receives visitor information. No contracts or formal partnerships are being claimed.
12 / TIME LIMITS
How long browser information may remain
Session technology is normally removed or made unusable when the relevant browsing session ends. Persistent technology may remain for a defined period so a permitted choice or function can continue between visits.
Technology / provider / category / purpose
Duration / status
Cookie / provider / purpose: To be confirmed during the production audit
Local or session storage / provider / purpose: To be confirmed during the production audit
Analytics or embedded service / provider / purpose: No current service detected; audit future integrations
13 / VISITOR CONTROL
Managing your choices
The planned website consent control should allow visitors to accept essential technologies, allow or refuse optional analytics, allow or refuse optional embedded media, allow or refuse optional marketing technology, review current choices, change choices later, withdraw optional consent, and reopen Cookie Preferences from the footer.
Essential technologies required for a requested service may not be switchable through the optional-preferences panel. Refusing an optional category should not prevent access to ordinary website information. No working consent platform is active yet.
14 / YOUR BROWSER
Browser controls
Visitors may delete cookies, clear local storage, block selected storage, use private browsing, restrict third-party cookies, manage site permissions, control location access, and control camera and microphone access.
Blocking all browser storage may affect functions that genuinely require it. Browser-specific instructions are not included because they can become outdated.
15 / FUTURE APPLICATION
The future FishBookPro© member application
The logged-in WeWeb and Supabase application may later require essential session technology for authentication, account security, access permissions, session continuity, private Catch Cards, uploads, realtime updates, rate limiting, AI-generation controls and remembering permitted settings.
The future application will need server-side controls to enforce the limit of one AI-generated community answer per user per genuine active session. Closing a browser or manipulating local storage must not automatically bypass backend limits.
Authentication and security session technology is different from optional marketing tracking. This functionality is not being built or connected in Framer.
16 / KEEP IT CURRENT
Updates to this page
This page should be updated whenever FishBookPro© adds, removes or changes a technology that affects browser storage, tracking, embedded content or visitor choices.
Updates should be dated, written clearly, reflected in the preference controls, compared against the actual website configuration, and coordinated with the Privacy Notice.
A fresh audit is required before every major public release.
